Our IMPACT

At E.H. Price we believe that giving back is a cornerstone of building stronger communities.

We are proud to continue the Price Family tradition of active community involvement through our three ‘pillars of giving’: Healthcare. Education. and Poverty Reduction. Each vear. our offices across Canada allocate a portion of their proceeds to local charities and organizations to support and uplift their communities. Take a look at our 2024 contributions below.

BC Cancer Foundation

$6,750 donated by E.H. Price Vancouver on June 7, 2024

“In keeping with the Price family’s ‘Three Pillars of Giving’ every year our E.H. Price offices donate a portion of their proceeds to local charities and organizations that support their communities. This year our Vancouver office decided to donate to BC Cancer Foundation. The BC Cancer Foundation raises funds for BC Cancer to support world-leading scientists and clinicians across the province — as they advance global innovation and accelerate access for all British Columbians to cutting edge cancer care, close to home.”

Kelowna Professional Firefighters Associated and Charitable Society

$2,000 donated by E.H. Price Kelowna on April 1, 2024

“Our E.H. Price Kelowna Branch is excited to support the Kelowna Professional Firefighters Association and Charitable Society. Their continuing efforts to alleviate poverty, hunger and provide financial support and educational aid to those struggling after disasters, illnesses, or loss prove to be the perfect choice for E.H. Price’s key ‘pillars of giving.”

Simon House Recovery Centre

$5,000 donated by E.H. Price Calgary on June 4, 2024

Simon House Recovery Centre has been operating in Calgary for 40 years. Through government funding and private donor support, the 84 day substance addiction recovery program is provided at no cost to their clients.  Over the past 40 years Simon House has provided addiction treatment to over 6,000 Calgarians.  Their success rate is extremely high, and they pride themselves in returning dads to their families and children, sons to their parents, and men to their communities. We are proud to have been their supporter in 2024.

Food for Thought

$5,500 donated by E.H. Price Edmonton on April 1, 2024

“We asked each of the staff members to bring forward a charity that they felt hit one or more of the three ‘pillars of giving’ – Healthcare, Education, and Poverty Reduction. We had a few different options brought forward; Food for Thought, Stollery Children’s Hospital, Edmonton Food Bank & Mustard Seed. We then had the staff vote on which charity we wanted to support. The staff voted for Food for Thought. Food for Thought provide healthy nourishment to children in various Edmonton schools that do not have publicly funded food programs. They also work with the schools to build a school garden. The schools use the gardens to teach students how to grow, prepare, and preserve their own healthy food.”

The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation

$10,250 donated by E.H. Price Toronto and E.H. Price Oshawa on May 13, 2024

The charity was chosen by the employees, as everyone voted for their choice. The majority chose The Princess Margaret Foundation, as a few of our employees have undergone successful cancer treatments at Princess Margaret Hospital in recent years. We are happy to contribute to their foundation to support advancements in cancer treatment.”

CancerCare Manitoba

$5,500 donated by E.H. Price Winnipeg on May 29, 2024

Prostate Cancer Support Regina

$500 donated by E.H. Price Regina on May 29, 2024

KidSport Saskatoon

$1,000 donated by E.H. Price Saskatoon on April 24, 2024

As an office full of individuals who all grew up playing sports, we realized their importance in a child’s development. They teach teamwork, worth-ethic, responsibilities, etc. all-important skills in life. KidSport Saskatoon provides underprivileged children this opportunity and we believe it is a cause worth donating to.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Thunder Bay

$750 donated by E.H. Price Thunder Bay on April 17, 2024

We selected the Boys & Girls Club of Thunder Bay because they are a staple in the City of Thunder Bay and have provided programs for children that are less fortunate and don’t have many opportunities for over 50 years . They promote a sense of belonging, self-esteem, appreciation to all children that attend the club.

Quebec Cancer Foundation

$8,000 donated by E.H. Price Montreal. E.H. Price Quebec, and E.H. Price Ottawa on May 10, 2024

We chose this charitable foundation because we all know, directly or indirectly, someone who has cancer. The Quebec Cancer Foundation brings together all types of cancer and not one in particular.  The foundation offers accommodation, support during medical treatments and psychological support to get through this ordeal more serenely.
